2. If you were to read a transit chart like a horary chart: t. Mercury in the 5th (and 5th ruled by Libra) with Venus being in Scorpio but also in the 5th - would you take that to mean the natal person has a chance to learn about or receive a secret admirer or get some news regarding someone they liked, etc.?

Thank you so much for your reading. I hope it does come true, except for the whip and coffin part in the first reading.

As for your question, I normally wouldn't read a transit chart as a horary since there are dignities and debilities and strictures which would have to be considered. But for the most part, I do believe Mercury could represent some learning. If you were to read a horary, Venus would represent a woman. This woman is usually the querent, for Venus would act as a co-significator. Since it is Venus in Scorpio, this may signify either a woman who hides a lot of secrets or is eager to find out deep truths about their romantic partner. If Mercury is applying to Venus in a conjunction, there is a high possibility you will find out something about your partner that you never knew. And again, since it is in Scorpio, this will cause you to have a change in perspective. The secret which is revealed to you will transform the way you look at the person.
