i get the sense the way you can get closure is by realizing everything, even bad things happen for our growth and evolution. whatever happened between you two was so that you can heal and become a better person. the person you were meant to be. all hurts make us more aware of truth, and this has helped you become more aware. it happened so you can prove to God you can heal yourself.

I think you should meet with the prospective employer, they may be able to give you a long term opportunity, to help you expand your horizons.
