Successful movement (ki chi) : the fearless flowing water is nourished by the fiery life force.Ki chi represents the image of the road of life. The hexagram can be taken as a ladder reaching to the heaven or a river that must be crossed. The bottom line, or the first step, is solid and the last step, or top line, is weak and unknown.
To cross the river, you leave the solid bank and jump from one stone to the next. Here too, the last jump is to the unknown.
With carefully considered steps, ki chi brings progress and prosperity. The core of the hexagram shows the reverse situation: here water is below and fire, above. This means that you must always watch out for disturbances of the balance.
The strong bottom line suggests a fortunate and energetic basis.
The weak, second line points to brave and supple motion.
At the end, at the top line, efforts come to a halt and chaos will overpower the mind. Material order and regularity don't apply here anymore. Fearless and with a burning heart, you proceed to eternity. Are you prepared?
The wise man reflects on danger ahead and arms himself beforehand.
Changing line:
Top line: your head is regularly under water. The position is dangerous. How long will you persist in pondering about things that cannot be grasped with the mind?
Changing lines lead to:
The management of the inner being (Kia zan) : the inner fire is kindled by respiration
The management of the inner being can be compared to a forge. The spiritual and physical nourishment, which has been ingested, is forged into effective words and fruitful actions.
The secret of the smith is fire. With it he moulds matter according to his wish.
The smith is the father of flaming, clear insight. His wife is the body or the workshop, and the children represent his words and deeds. The motion of a pair of bellows, or respiration, has a steady and regular rhythm. If the bellows blow too little air, the fire goes out and nothing is undertaken.
With overheating, effective words or deeds are not possible because of over-excitation.
Intellect and sexuality are problem children. They oppose the will of the father and cling to earthly, addictive pleasures. The father must treat them strictly and justly from the very beginning in order to prevent that his wife, the body, rebels against him and the family falls apart.
Kia zan conveys the image of management of the inner being. The female, or physical principle, stands boldly on the second line, while male insight occupies the appropriate fifth line.
The continuity of material order depends on the harmonious cooperation between mind and body, as between man and woman. If they assume their proper positions, everything under the sky will be confirmed in its essence.
The wise man will base his words and deeds on his clear insight,

So the current situation which will be the foundation of circumstances in 2015, sounds like you are at or have just been at a cross-roads. You've had to make a decision requiring skills and experience but ultimately faith. You are being in touch with delicate forces - an adrenalin fuelled by something greater.
The changing lines suggest that whilst you have at your disposal an intuition you might also be thinking which will compromise your ability. In your case in context of both hexagrams I think it does sound like you could be burying your head in the sand with something and so it sounds like a distraction from a goal but with everything being a success it may be to conserve energy, purposeful and ok as long as it doesn't take over.
However, the situation suggests you will ultimately manage to perfectly manifest what you are hoping to achieve now. It sounds like there's a deadline of some kind and that you are pacing yourself. You will finish the race next year in good time because you have exercised and practised somehow with very mature approach
It's very general. If you want to ask a more specific question I can do that
