Are you thinking of quitting your job (or giving up some kind of stay-at-home/caregiver situation) to do photography full-time? I ask because there's a great deal of mental energy (swords) fighting against passionate, emotional energy (wands). This makes me think there's a struggle between practical finance/responsibility needs and emotional/passion/life dream desires.

The King of Swords paired with the Page of Wands (r) suggests either you have been pouring cold water on your dreams, because photography just isn't "practical" or... someone else has. I did go through a rough patch to be sure. Lots of uncertainty financially, which I took roughly, but I also tried not to let it get to me emotionally... which proved a big mistake, haha. Apparently, feeling things is a healthy mindset I am trying hard to get myself back on track, and to a degree, it's working. I'm pretty much always stressed about money and my career. I think that 8 of Pents rx is highlighting my fear that I'm not doing enough... and the 8 of Cups rx is saying I'm not willing to deal with the fact that, no, I'm not doing as much as I could because that would require a lot of emotion and self-meditation (I'm a creative writer... blargh).

I hope you're right and that it all goes well. It did resonate, thank you. New experiences are always scary, and I guess I just need to put faith in the fact that it's happening for a reason. Embrace the Fool, I guess

Your reading - Well if you can visualise, I'm bowing and saluting you. You were inch to inch correct (or should I say millimetre to millimetre).
I was in IT field and quit it because I hated that job. I switched to photography had my website made and my visiting card made to begin with (scares that you got both right). Ok, and then, yes, I went from IT to photography and worked with real passion but had to quit because of financial constraint. You know you don't earn well initially in photography. Right there as well.
Ok, so my father isn't supportive at all in this profession. I've loads of debt I need to pay off (in order to pursue photography). Now, I'm in dilemma whether or not ,i'll make money, whether or not, i'll get success in photography. Very damn perplexed regarding photography. My heart just jumps out of joy when I see my camera, but then I think is it worth the risk again

Just a single query - What you said about 10 of swords in the end. Are are perfectly sure I should pursue photography?? I mean as per your reading, because as you said it involves a lot of risk for me

Lol, I knew what you meant about the 3 of Swords I like it as the 3 of Hearts though. Makes it even more dramatic.

I'm glad the reading resonated! I haven't read in awhile, so I always get nervous it's all wrong or daffy.

The 6 of Wands is a great omen, and the Fool as the advice is, for me, a huge sign about starting on a new path. Will it be easy? No. Will it be difficult at times, yes, and it may take time to get your sea legs under you. However, if you want something you've never had, you have to do something you've never done. Again, patience is required, but I think in the next three months, you'll see a major upswing or at least receive positive feedback and work that allows your business to grow.

The 10 of Swords as the clarifier is simply stating WHY you will embody the 6 of Swords. It tells me that you are moving on to a new stage and reworking how you view the world. It's not as transformative or finite as Death. It doesn't have that karmic weight. It's more about moving on mentally from the negative to the positive. I think Becca, I should take you on this one. Anyways I most definitely owe you for your kindness So, yeah i think what's holding me back is only my sense of doubt about it. I need to look past my insecurities.
You're right, it gives me joy to do photography. I however, took the stride and got positive response so far. I think the only thing I'm missing here is self confidence.
