What N is holding back:8/swords, death, 2/cups There's a lot going on here. Emotionally he is feeling like a victim, he's unable to act, although this is a swords card I always get so much of an emotional vibe from it. He has no ability right now to grapple what's bothering him.
Death shows that there is inevitable change he's fearing but he will have to let go of things/memories/feelings that aren't serving any purpose in his life anymore and the transition will come whether he wishes it to or not.
This transition will actually aid him shed what isn't necessary anymore, old attitudes and habits will die away & I think you'll find N more balanced, in harmony with himself & feeling more positive & perhaps ready for partnership? Overall it looks like he's going through a lot of inner turmoil right now. He'll work through it & come out more evolved for it  Let me know if you have more questions xo IP: Logged |

That seems kind of right. I mean me personally I think eventually he'll tell me how he feels, but not any time soon. However I do get the sense he's lonely in some way just from posts on Facebook where he talks about how "he's still able to pick good friends"? 1) 5/swords, 6/cups, knight/pentsI think he feels really self-conscious, he's having a difficult time communicating with others right now, he could be too worried what other people think. I think he'll get to a point where he's able to drown out the noise and focus on the simpler things (6/cups) Going back to the basics will really help him sort through whatever has caused this funk he's in

I don't know if he cares what other people think...but this made me wonder if you're picking up my other friend who I haven't talked to in months. I follow his blog and lately it's been woe is me stuff?? Still though, neither guy is focused. And I do think N is trustworthy and dependable. He's just usually more assertive sounding so I'm like hmmm...like idk if it has to do with me or it's a funk he's in in general. IP: Logged |

2) knight of cups, magician, ace/pentaclesI think he does want to and per the knight he will make moves to show you this, he can be passive so he might need some encouragement but don't make it too easy on him, especially since magician is next to him - he knows deep down he has power over his destiny & he is capable of being very concentrated on what he wants. Once he makes the move, you'll find a beginning of something solid from him, he will want a stable relationship and this looks like a great omen for moving forward. let me know what you think IP: Logged |

6/pentacles, tower, 5/pentaclespentacles = work :-P I think just by interacting with him on a very basic level will encourage him, tower urges you to let go of the fantasy aspects and focus on the reality of this situation - make sure it's what you really do want or you will build him up to be someone he isn't and you'll feel dissatisfied and there will be a things lacking for you. Knight of Swords Basically I think he's afraid he'd get too attached, but this is definitely something he struggles with and not just blowing smoke. Also though, he's afraid you would want the whole shebang if you two were to be intimate. He would get more attached but he may not be able to meet the expectations he's afraid you'd have.
