Background Story:

3 days ago (on the new moon) I sent an email to CJ, suggesting him that he should be more consistent with me when it comes to communicating with me instead of talking to me only when he feels like talking.

In my second email, I tried to balance out the tone of my message by being more passive than the tone I applied in my first message, only because online communication always leads to misinterpretations.

Given that he is a very cautious guy when it comes to opening up to me, I felt that it was not fair on my part to corner him that way. As soon as I realised this, I sent my last mail this morning, in which I told him that I was projecting my own fears from past relationship, and that he did not need to worry about addressing any of my earlier concerns. All I asked him was to be gentle towards me as I am still recovering from the past pain.

He was delighted to see your mail, like he really wants you in his life. He see's at you with a ray of hope, means he wants to be with you and cares about you but you're right your projection of past relationships is making him see the situation where two people are together but maybe the love is missing. It's true that everyone acts differently in a relationship and he's quite a gentle person ( Wise I'd say, means he doesn't quite loose his temper). Currently he sees the situation quite rushed, so I suggest take a feet back and re-evaluate what you're saying to him, cause he wants you but it's more on you to build the passion.

Star card, when he received your mail quite denotes he sees you as his star shine, so just don't let the past experiences jeopardise this. Past is gone
