I am not so good with timing but I am feeling that something a bit more suited for you is coming your way. What I feel is more january/februrary time someone from the old job will let you know about an opening or you will get some information about a new job opportunity. I feel you will be a bit down for a bit now, but soon enough you will see that its possible to get something better.

I am not sure where yet, not so good at that but I really feel something better come.
