My money is continually being sucked up and I'm supposed to travel to Los Angeles next week for Christmas. Can someone please pull a few cards to see if my financial situation will improve and how this trip is going to work out. I am sooooo stressed out!!!! Thanks in advance! IP: Logged |

You don't have to worry, someone is coming to your aid (has an older family member feel to them like a big sister) and will cover it/help you out - you can potentially have a nice xmas if you don't get too bogged down in thinking about what you really would have ultimately liked to do.Appreciate the basics of it and you can have a lovely xmas  IP: Logged |

I hope they are also! Lol. I am not sure who I could ask. I've asked everyone I can ask. With the exception of a previous boss who I used to be close to but we have not spoken in three years and he's kinda an ******* .

Vivi - I definitely will! You know... I spoke with my former boss about it and he offered to help but he sent a check to my school's address!! Which isn't good because it probably won't get to me until after I'm scheduled to fly out and campus will be closing on Tuesday. I emailed him to let him know and asked if was too late to just wire the money to me. We shall see... IP: Logged |

This has seriously come down to the wire.. I emailed my former boss yesterday but he did not respond. My flight is scheduled to leave Tuesday morning and he's in another state... Lord help me! Lol. I am beyond anxious! IP: Logged |

Oh nooooo!!! I just checked the tracking for the package and it says the scheduled delivery day is Tuesday at 3. My flight leaves at 12pm.IP: Logged |

*facepalm* Blessed As I was reading your post i was like  then D: then then D:. For express packages you usually can have them rerouted. I use to use DHL express all the time while in the US. Call them and have the package rerouted to your LA location they usually will do this at no extra cost tell them no one will be home to sign for the delivery and the person receiving it is in LA. It's through USPS. I called them and they are closed. I was thinking about having a friend get it from my mail and overnighting it to where I am. After checking the tracking he sent it priority express 2day not over night. But if they require a signature, that might complicate things. I wonder if there is any chance of the package making it earlier or if I can just go to the post office early Tuesday morning at 8 when they open and pick it up... Also, the reroute idea Is good. I'm just scared that by the time I contact them on Monday morning it'll akredy be practically here, making it longer to get to LA.... Ugh!!! This is a mess!!!!

I'm confused because the tracking says it was sent priority mail express 2day. However, USPS's site says there is only priority mail which is 2-3 days or priority mail express, which is overnight. According to the website, there is no priority mail express 2day... Oh lord!!! IP: Logged |
