To me Aaron feels very "soft" and has a good natured energy, I feel he is a good person towards you and I feel you have a good understanding of each other.
He feels a bit clueless to me, in a way he feels like he knows you like him more than friend but also like he is unaware, so I would take this as he is turning a blind eye and is rather looking at you as a friend. BUT !
here comes the but - he is turning a blind eye because of his insecurities not because he would not like this to be more. He is being a "cave man" male. To him this going further seems like a long hard task so he rather not think about it . Right now I feel that he does find you attractive, he does even fantasize about you but parts of him do stop him.
I do feel there were times where you both thought "hmm what if " and I do feel this was put to an end or better put these feelings are now very guarded.
I would say he is feeling that a friendship would be lost if something were to start and he is fearing "female drama" .
Also, this is something that in the long future could very well happen despite all the fears as what I do get as the bigger picture is that this man needs to be lead towards what you want. I feel like he needs slight nudges and pushes but not to strong as to scare him. I do feel that your own intuition will guide you in this, you will be lead to the best way to handle this. But you will have to have the faith and trust. If you let fear come in, this will not go as well as it could

A is very attracted to you, but it's more than just your looks. He finds you beautiful in personality and there is just something about you that radiates and piques his interests. I do feel that he still has romantic intentions towards you, however, he is being cautious and taking things slow. I feel like he may not entirely feel like another relationship with you is possible. There were things that got in the way between the two of you before and the way things turned out definitely disappointed him. I think he still feels an aura of sadness over the relationship as he truly did care about you. He felt safe with you as well as he hoped you felt safe around him. I think when it comes to you he is a big mush even though he may try to keep his composure. He sees you in high regard.. thinks very highly of you and finds youth be kind and a very special person that will be dear to his heart. I think he does have hope, but there is something that is stopping him and not letting him jump into anything serious. He is weighing the pros and cons but I do feel like he would like to be closer to you physically for sure. To even just give you a hug and hold you for a bit of time will do him well. " - do you feel this is something that can be changed over time and he will think its possible by spending time again together, earning each others trust and that sort of thing? Your reading about Aaron was so on point!! Thank you. Yeah, he is a big softie. He's a Cancer after all :P He's incredibly sweet and it's not what I'm used to at all. Thank you for clarifying about it being his insecurities and not me  I have a tendency to start wondering what's wrong with myself but the situation is true. I know he is scared and he has told me this before. He said he finds me to be confusing which is why he pulls back. So we're both feeling the same way.... scared! :L I agree that I do need to have faith though. I am afraid to get hurt but I know if I stand still and not take the chance, I'll be hurt even worse. Spending time together again will really help There is a desire to fix things on both ends, I'm seeing. I think hanging out and regaining each other's trust is a start and a relationship can definitely happen. I just think it will be a little hard. There will be small hurdles the two of you will have to jump through. I feel like there will be a bit of a push and pull here? Once you feel like progress is being made, someone will take a step back. I think there's just fear of being hurt and fear of feeling alone.. I feel for some reason there needs to be a watch for jealousy if you two do get involved again? You can be assured that you will have each other's complete attention but I still feel like something might get in the way and someone will try to make a mountain over a molehill. Talking things out with one another is your best bet. Thank you so much !this resonated on so many levels and all that you said is what is going on right now, push and pull and when I see he makes progress he pulls away then comes forward again making progress. Just like you and Aaron, we are both scared. both of same thing as we both hurt each other, and playing the blame game now wont help us. So I am learning to go day by day and deal with it as we go along. I am happy there is progress and knowing him, these are good steps. thank you again and that description got me all teary I am glad I resonated with yo also! I don't get any feelings that it's over you, so don't feel bad. I just feel he's having a bit of anxiety over a certain situation and he is trying to keep his cool amongst it all.
