R may have strong feelings for you, but he is afraid to act upon them, there may be something impeding a relationship between you two. Ok so basically right now it feels like a risk to move in toghether but you will, ance you both make that scary move it will work out because its going to feel so refreshing and brand new, very exciting and your relationship will go to a new level

He's very stubborn isn't he? The way he will move in with you is if you go at him a different way, like instead of asking him or confronting him about it be creative , make it look fun and exciting, almost like a trick but not lol

Yep, these are good insights. I have had to be real compassionate and considerate of his feelings, and almost indirect - not assertive or aggressive about it, or else he would have absolutely been more anxious about the idea. It's a scary step for him, more than it is for me, so I can see why I need to have this approach. The big issue is that it's an overseas move, and he's worried about a lot of other commitments. Do you sense he will try to compromise and really make the effort to come overseas for me? I am majorly concerned about things getting held up, because he feels guilty about certain things, and also because of paperwork [like getting a visa]. I don't doubt him, I just don't want things to get held up, or to feel like he is doubting me or not trusting me. This is a BIG commitment for not only him, but for me [financially]. But I love him unlike anyone else in this world. All I want is to be with him. And I know living together will work out for us. It's just getting him here. His family is very manipulative [his words].

For your situation with R, I feel like he is veeeery stubborn too, but more than that, he's self-involved and looks out for himself. He isn't being totally honest about his current life or his dating history. 7 of Swords means sneaking around, or not being entirely honest. Withheld communication. He may be doing the hot/cold act because he may have other romantic entanglements. The 3 of Cups with the aforementioned cards concerns me of that possibility. I think you have to take the 'direct' role and gather the reins, since R controls a huge part of where this affair is going. Ask him what he wants! Catch him off his guard. Honesty is more likely, in this case.

Once everything is in motion both of you are going to handle this very maturely. I actually think things will go smoothly as far as him moving in with you. The problem is that once the process is complete there may be a problem where one of you feels the other is unreasonable with how things should function within the home. This is definitely something that can be compromised, for there is a devoted connection here. However, you must work hard to obtain complete balance or a missed opportunity for harmonious living can surely occur.
