It had a questioning vibe... still unsure & hesitant . I think you still confused because the easiest answer is to believe I misled him. But the truth of it and when I pointed out the facts of it, that wasn't the case. So he did read my two messages I sent him the other day I think that's what made him open up and see my side. He knows I'm not going to be back up there until April...and I think that gives him safety so perhaps we can just you know talk or text message or just be friends and then maybe in April will see if we'll meet up

I'm still picking up that you two are going to get back together. Give it time..sounds like he's the kind of guy that needs time to process before he replies or makes decisions. Try to give him that time without getting too anxious about it..I am speaking from experience
