I was hoping you could help me out interpreting these spreads, I'm afraid to be biased!

So, there's this guy at work and today we had a talk, I came home and asked "what will happen between us?"
The thing is, when I asked this I had nothing in mind, I just medidated on him and the talk we had. The spread was:

The Emperor, Page of Pentacles Rx, The Tower

I thought the Emperor made sense, he's sort of my coach and he's teaching and guiding me workwise. As for the Page I have no clue. The Tower scared me and I thought he could be firing me, maybe?
But then I asked "Will we be in a romantic relationship?". This time the feeling was different, and I got:

8 of Wands, Ace of Cups, 6 of Cups

And now I'm completely lost.
The guy uses a ring on his finger, he's definitely in a commited relationship. One of my personal moral codes is to NEVER mess with commited guys. I'm not even sure why I asked the cards that question.

Emperor+Page Coins+Tower

He's the Emperor (Boss) and you're the Page Coins ("Student", you said he's teaching you something, makes sense) the Tower may mean there will be something unexpected or shocking/stressful about things between you two in the future. Perhaps you will feel overwhelmed/frustrated and may struggle to get the hang of things since the page is rx.

The second to me means you two will talk, maybe even flirt, but don't see a romantic relationship. There is an attraction though, and the feeling of wanting to be "more than friends". I see you two getting along pretty well and maybe even flirting with each other per those cards.
