Today I was tending my cards and realized I had 'two king of cups'. I counted my cards many times, they never seemed extra, so I went looking for the missing card. There is no missing card, just one extra. It's not from another deck, it's my usual deck, rider-waite.A few days before, a friend talked about a special deck (it's not tarot, she was a local witch) which always comes with missing ones and extra ones. These extras and missing ones symbolize what you need to have and get rid of in your life, she said. Now it got me thinking if I should look for it. I'm known for my bad choices in relationship partners. Maybe I should get rid of the king of cups? Any thoughts? IP: Logged |

Why not just keep it in your deck where you found it? And perhaps do a reading and see if its useful having two KOC?? I would leave it in the deck...IP: Logged |

I rarely pull this card. I'm curious whether it is me who resembles KOC or people I choose. And I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with this, having two of the same card seem unfair, doesn't it? IP: Logged |

my thoughts are that having 2 same cards is a bit of cheating, I would say sort of like having jokers in playing cards, since king of cups can be such a positive card.. but I think what your first thought was about the card, to do that. Your first gut feeling.I myself would remove it, just to make it more fair when doing readings also because well, when you do them for others, you want to be fair and accurate. IP: Logged |

Yes it does seem unfair. Take the extra KOC out. I have a deck in which the Hanged Man is missing, I misplaced it I think, but I don't use that deck ever anymore.

yup, I already removed it but it got me thinking whether I should do something about it. in other words, could it be a message just like the deck my friend told about. because king of cups represent my ex sweetheart so good.

Well I feel as though with removing it, you did the necessary step. I dont feel like you need to do more. If he is your ex and you feel you want to keep him as an ex, then I feel you dont need to do anything more. I get not to give it too much thought, you will drive yourself crazy analysing it.
