He is quite indecisive with what he feels for you. I could be wrong but there seems to be someone, a male figure, who is making M feel a bit constricted as well. Yes, re #2- I am learning, and I messed something up when addressing someone- the title I needed to use was like 'miss' in a different language, I mis-spelled it and it meant 'basin/bathtub' instead of 'miss'.
