So, someone from my past got back in touch with me after months of silence. We exchanged a few e-mails, and it turned out that he has a gf now. It came by surprise, I'm not that devastated, tho. Or at least not now, because I'm still trying to process what he wrote. I feel totally drained and exhausted now.

(I guess heartache will come later, but I hope not and I'll be able to easily move on from this.)

To be honest, I thought he was my "next long-term love partner", he may be, but now I'm just confused. I question everything I built up from clues given before.

Could someone read some cards for me to make things clear(er)? My questions are:

1. Does my "real next long-term love partner" have a gf now?

2. Who will be my next love partner that I'll be in a relationship with?

I feel awful and I feel the need to have some down-time. I'd like to thank every help in advance.
