So, I just got a brand new deck of Tarot cards and a new one of Lenormand cards. The one that I really wanted. Yay!

So my Q would be; how to store my cards? Did you do anything before you used them for the first time so that you connected with them better?

Thank you so much for advice!

Please, no requests for now. Will open separate topic for few to practice.

When I get a new deck I usually do a reading with it and ask about our relationship, what I need to know...that sort of thing.
I store them in in my desk...nothing special.

May the Gods bless you bc I just bought a Lenormand deck as well, my first, and have no idea what to do.
I was just wondering where to post the question about this.

Mine came with a mini guide that says I should "purify and energize" it, but I don't have the materials to do so, so idk

Midnightvenus:Lenormand is fantastic divination tool...however it can be frustrating at times...it won't answer your question at all sometimes...it will tell you what you need to know! So it can be hard to do readings for other people. Lenormand is a true fortune telling tool in my opinion!

Interesting thing:
When I was checking the cards for the first time, Sun pretty much "said hello" to me.
It partly fell, enough for me to see his face.
Is it normal for two Sun cards to come in the deck?

Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but you could give me your insight on this!

WOW!

No a deck should not have an extra card! I would put one away. But that is just me.

The Sun that fell was the first Sun card, so I'll keep this one in the deck then!

Besides this, is there anything else in special I should do before I can start to freely use the deck?

It's just that I was really worried about making sure I'm "doing everything right" since it's my first deck and stuff.
So thanks for helping!!!
