I grew up in a religious environment, was brianwashed into thinking that all things psychic is evil when it's not.

If you "see" things, then that means your guides are showing you those images..we all have "spirit guides" (that's where we get our info. from..even if we don't "name" them). I don't have names for my guides (well, I do believe in the saints and God, etc..to me those are my "guides").

I do think that we all use our spirit guides if we want to or not, we all have spirit guides and II think you cannot just shut them out, they do help guide our spirts/souls. I dont think you need to envoke them for it to be a spirit guide reading.
Intuition comes from our subconcious/spirits/6th sense.
Just becuase you dont call upon a spirit guide doesnt mean you dont get insight through them if you understand what I am trying to say.
Some people know their spirit guides some dont.

Just because her body is older does not mean her soul is. Using tools to communicate is perfectly fine. Spirit guides are simply people who have been in your shoes before and are there to help guide you in the right direction. I even have a strong connection to the ascended masters / saints. They help all the time and I use cards to ask them questions when I don't understand or need help. The angels, guides, masters will always be there to help. Don't be afraid to use cards they can not hurt you and they are safe to use there is nothing heaven will hold against you for gaining their guidance.
