As a reminder, we are all on a journey here to share our gifts, help others, and most importantly, grow as individuals. We all come from different backgrounds and expertise, which makes this forum the best, if not the best on the site.

I've been super busy so far this year, and haven't had time to read for people like I normally do (but hopefully soon, I really want to make a big thread again!). But, one of my favorite things is browse and see how talented our tarot, horary, natal/transit, intuitive, and all other forms of readers are. The diversity in here is what makes it great.

No one should ever have their abilities put down or marginalized because they do not fit someone else's interpretation. Likewise, calling someone a liar because you do not like their interpretation is not okay. I also do not think it is okay to push one's religious beliefs onto other people without their permission- it is very self-righteous and condescending.

In short, treat everyone in here with respect- we all deserve to feel welcomed and appreciated. LexusVirgo, I do not believe we have exchanged, but I appreciate all that you do here. I apologize for what happened to you tonight, no one deserves that type of treatment. Just keep your head up and keep reading.

I agree. Another thing I would like to add but I have given some people readings here and most people(not everyone of course) never give a thank you or anything about the reading . I am new to this forum, I starting posting this year and I never get this type of silence. I just think out of courtesy people should at least acknowledge with a thanks...that is all! It just leaves me hanging and I wonder if they even read the reading I put so much energy into.

I agree. I'm learning to develop my skills and recently I had been reading some articles that were saying that this gift was wrong and evil etc and it made me question whether or not I should continue, then I realised it is a skill im meant to have. I do have a faith myself and the way i look at it is if God didnt want me to have this he would have taken it away from me when I was baptised. It's not the tools we have thats important it is how we use them, these gifts can be used to help others in need and from what I saw LV was just trying to help and wasn't expecting anything in return. What's wrong with trying to help someone? While I am of the view that people are entitled to their own beliefs and opinions, calling someone a liar or trying to ram their beliefs down the throat of others is not cool. We are adults and can make our own choices.

@erickaf I agree with you there. A thank you or acknowledgement costs nothing. I'm learning so i appreciate feedback. How would can i improve if I dont know I might have interpreted something wrong? I liked when we were exchanging you were offering alternative views on a card that appeared. It's how we learn. Even if my readings are completely off i would like to know.

You are very welcome. I saw the thread, and I know you had good intent, which is why I felt the need to say something.

I understand this frustration as well, definitely been there. I will play devil's advocate though: sometimes I think people get busy and truly forget to come back and update the reading or thank someone. I think you should always out of common courtesy thank the reader for their time, but not everyone is like that.

I have a few suggestions to get feedback if you haven't tried them already:

(1) Specifically note in the OP you want feedback
(2) Bump the post in the thread for the person who didn't respond to your reading
(3) You can create a separate post and @soandso so that you can immediately get their attention to respond to you
(4) Request emails for the really long readings- sometimes if you do it privately people are more likely to respond.

@VacantGazer- I 100% agree with everything you said! Everyone here has the same end goal: to help others, so we should all continue to build each other up and not tear down.
