To high of rent for size....and not the most desirable locations. Not downtown or good part of the city.....their peers live on the north side. The area is still somewhat sketchy

U can find another roommate but you'll have to widen your criteria... allow men, etc.

I'd start planning ahead and start looking for yourself

Ahh thanks Cher! There's a lot of new buildings around here and my bf said its not as bad as back then. It's close to school so I'm like super attached to the place/ hate moving hehe. And yeh a lot of people prefer river north / lake view from what I know. I would cheapen the rent on the room but then I'll have to cover the rest of it :/ thanks again!
