How will this argument affect us going forward? And what is his takeaway from it all? I know what mine is, though I'm still working through how I want to handle it.

How will this argument affect the 2 of you going forward?
I got birds, letter, cross, scythe and stork. I don't feel this is a new problem, I see problems with communication between the 2 of you. I really feel like the 2 of you need to talk about what happened if you haven't already and really let each other know exactly how you feel. I see pain on both sides and I do see this being a difficult conversation and it could cause a temporary split between the 2 of you but I want to say, that I see positive things coming from all of this for the 2 of you. I see that after the pain from the conversations, that there is change coming and it's positive changes between the 2 of you.

I pulled clarifier cards and got ship, dog and bear.
I can tell you that right now, he's not liking the distance that this has put between the 2 of you and I do see he regrets what he said out of anger and feels low. He wants to show you that he isn't that person and will protect you from any and all hurt.

Okay first, please let me apologize. It's been a crazy day.

I'm literally being shown a door closing. The only light comes from outside that door and the room's interior is dark. This feels like "leaving it behind".

I don't know what your past together constitutes (or if this is a reflection of his past alone), but it feels tumultuous - extreme highs and absolutely heartbreaking lows. I can say that, if the history he has with you was tumultuous, you're only a part of a much larger, deeper picture. It feels like he's taking now to try and heal himself from a long history of pain. This is a good thing. That said, I believe the door is closing because some part of him knows he's, as he is now, not what you need and he won't be for a very long time. I feel both sadness and peace here - bittersweet.

It feels like he will, to some degree, find what he seeks in making himself better, but he will be a very different person when he comes out of it. Not bad; just different.
