I asked this before but nobody said anything. So I'm going to ask again. I was thinking I'm intuitive but I can't seem to connect much without seeing a picture. When I see someone's face, I either see snow, kids, anything that relates to them.. maybe even them smiling. But when someone ask me a question without seeing a picture it's so hard for me to connect but sometimes it's very easy. Even if it's just a text or anything.. I feel emotions from it too or if it will happen again.  I feel like I will never be good at the other intuitives on here. Also my readings don't be very long.. just short to the point. :/IP: Logged |

From my perspective you are good. You may have not the practice.
In my personal experience I have been blocked from readings as well. I could not see or say anything. I learned to trust the universe that they protect me. They guide me. Sometimes I could not handle the answer, the energy of the other side, I need a pause......

Hello ILP  My best answer to this is that we all have our gifts and we do our greatest service to ourselves and each other by focusing on and honing those. For instance, I tried cards in the beginning. They were serviceable in helping me 'out' my actual gift, but they tended to lead me off on tangents which I somehow knew weren't giving me a full (or sometimes even accurate) picture of anything I saw, felt, heard, sensed about the reality of a given situation. That's not to say they're not a perfectly reasonable means of perceiving a situation; it's to say that they're just not mine. Astrological charts are another one. Gosh, I wish I could really get a grasp of reading charts! I try so hard! But in the end, I only have the most fundamental concept for it and I don't think that will ever change. That's why (I believe) boards like this, when the energy is good and the focus isn't exploitation, are such a great thing: they allow us to exchange strengths even in the weakest, most vulnerable of times - in other words, when we need those different strengths the most IP: Logged |

Thank you both. I guess I just gotta accept that everyone has their own style. I was thinking that my readings were too short an not too much information in it. When I look at others.. I'm just wowed at how they get so much while I get only maybe a few sentences.IP: Logged |

Maybe you're also putting too much pressure on yourself, it takes time to learn to use and develop our gifts properly. We're not always going to be correct or connect to everyone at first go. And I have some feedback for you. You saw me being on a boat enjoying myself. That actually happened on Thursday and i had a nice day -----------------------------------------
