I was looking at a friend's asteroids and noticed that his Aphrodite is almost exactly conjunct my Ascendant. Should I read this the same way as Venus conjunct the Ascendant (which his Venus does, loosely)? Does anyone have any experience with the love asteroids, past or present?IP: Logged |

Yes.My Soul Mate has his Aphrodite conjunct my ASC exact. My Jupiter/Aphrodite conjuncts his Moon exact. He thinks I'm the most beautiful thing, and I feel the same way about him. H is very attracted to me physically. But we also have Venus square Mars exact making a t square with his Uranus. IP: Logged |

Thanks Raspberri. He's never said how he feels and I suppose this has something to do with Venus and Aphrodite being in Capricorn. I think he's the most perfect man that I've ever seen.IP: Logged |

Funnily enough the guy I have a crush on who hasn't told me how he felt has his Aphrodite exactly conjunct my venus and only a couple degrees from my Jupiter as well.  IP: Logged |

I guess my beau and I fail miserably here...lol Our Aphrodite(Sag)does conjunct each others, as well as his conjuncting my Jupiter, Juno and Persephone, but with very wide orbs. His does however conjunct my Karma at less than a 3 deg orb...that's too wide for asteroids though correct? Thanx...

Kat, I try to stay under 4 degrees. Wider orbs, in my opinion, do matter, but they're not as strong. It's so amazing to see the exact conjunctions. His Jupiter exactly conjuncts my Lust and this explains so much  I wish there was more information on the asteroids. IP: Logged |

I have Jupiter conjunct Lust exact in synastry right now too! We cant keep our hands off each other. It falls into my 7th house and his 3rd. Hmmm I know he likes my mind. Orb for asteroids is 3. IP: Logged |

Raspberri, our conjunction falls in my 9th house. Not sure if it has anything to do with this, but I love his accent and that we're from completely different places. Communication isn't always easy between us, but if you put us in a crowded room together we somehow end up sitting next to or standing by each other. I'm trying to find something that explains it. First of all I stand corrected...at least I corrected myself this time..lol His APHRODITE trines my OSIRIS in Aries and squares my PLUTO in Virgo. I have NO idea which asteroid I was looking at before!As far as LUST goes...oh yeah...mmmmm His LUST in Aquarius(hmmm lusting another woman aye?lol)anyway, his LUST in Rx conjuncts my CHIRON in Rx exact, trines my ISIS and SIVA(Gemini), exact, and sextiles my JUPITER(Sag),exact. My LUST also in Rx, sextiles his NESSUS and DNA in Taurus exact? Not too bad huh?

is it really important in synastry?i checked for the first time in my synastry, we have aphro square jupiter double whammy. her Aphro opposes my Venus by 2 orb. my Aphro opposes her moon 0 orb exact. IP: Logged |

I read somewhere that when two people don't have many planetary aspects to explain their attraction/relationship then they should look at the asteroids. This is the case for me- we don't have a whole lot to explain why one of us is drawn to the other. Plus it's just fun to look at the asteroids in synastry. One couple whose synastry could explain this may be Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles. Cafeastrology has a nice comparison of the two, but it doesn't show their asteroids, which may explain a lot more.
By the way, anyone look at lovejoy and lovelock? Just looking at the conjunctions for the time being; his lovejoy conjuncts my Uranus and his lovelock conjuncts my Ascendant exact.

Even though I found him attractive in a beginning, it was never a "bone crashing" experince for me. lol
I wish I would experience it with somebody
I guess my aqua sun dampens the attractions.

Still_Hopeful, I think for me it's because my mars is in virgo as well as his. So, he's my ideal kind of man. What sign is your mars in? This could be a reason. I've met very few men who I thought to myself "now, that's a man!" For those I did think this about had either Sun, Ascendant or Mars in virgo.IP: Logged |
