Hi guys,So I got something close to what my dream job would be, terminated my tenancy and had 3 months notice. I got approved of a pretty high sum of mortgage. So all sounds great, right?? Not so much I've been apartment hunting like crazy - thinking of buying something, because the apartments for rent in the city I am moving to are rented out withing HOURS! However whatever I set my heart on becomes an obstacle or is sold within a week! It happened several times now. Until Monday, I had to great options in mind and almost at hand. One was an apartment for auction (I live in Denmark, things are likely different than other places) and the other one on the "free market" been on sale for 1 week. I went to see the free marketed apartment, fell in love. Then went to see the auctioned - fell even more in love. Last Thursday I was told that the auctioned apartment has "irremovable" tennants, so I consulted a great lawyer. She answered it's a very bad case. The second after I close my email to see the other apartment IT'S SOLD! Then I see another nice apartment and that was sold just yesterday I will be homeless in 3 weeks, and I don't know what to do I am asking for help and guidance. I am open to anything that would shed light on why it seems impossible. I appreciate all help. I know that a crazy housing market of course contributes to it, but how unfortunate can I possibly be? My chart with transits: All the best, Starish (who lost all her hope )

I don't read charts but I wanted to say this to you. Your real estate market sounds as if you won't go wrong even if you buy something you don't truly love. Since you will be homeless in 3 weeks, find something that works for you, even if it's not everything you want, and submit your offer on the spot, or as close to it as you possibly can. This will allow you to settle in and start looking again when you're ready. If things sell that quickly, you should have no trouble selling your home in the future. IP: Logged |

Thanks for your input Sadie. I am not fast at deciding thing like that, it's quite intimidating with the high prices on real estate. I was offered a rental studio yesterday after writing this post that I am heading off to see in a while. I am still looking for real estate though IP: Logged |

Completely misunderstood: it's a room in someone else's apartment IP: Logged |

Hi SpiritualSadie, Good news! I did exactly what you said and bought an apartment. Still there seems to be some obstacles, but I am SO hopeful IP: Logged |
