I see that you or him worked really hard for something in the past and you're waiting for something more from him. But I think right now isn't the best time. His head is somewhere else, and it might be better to move on.

Things will be really good for sometime. Smooth sailing. Be willing though to put in some hard work toward the end, which might have to do with money coming in and trying to maintain it.
