Honestly, it's not a big deal for me. It has happened a number of times to me- especially when I'm blunt with my reads. I have larger fish to fry (and sell)!

Advice - take quick action when an opportunity presents itself to you. Do not overthink it- just make a decision there and then. Be disciplined and stick to a schedule- realise that you need to get the experience to get to where you aspire to be in terms of career- this is a time for laying the foundation. Do not refuse to talk and discuss with other people- and be open to sudden change.

The overarching message is to go with the flow and to roll with the punches- don't be afraid and try to communicate more with others around you.

How soon would the trip be happening? I think something is going to happen that will be very emotionally bothersome, pertaining to communication that will make you feel defeated. Perhaps one of you will act selfishly or above the other, making the trip itself hard to do. I'm not sure what JH's relation is to you, but based on the cards I think you actually will have difficulties before going on the trip.

Not a trip, but a job offer starting after I do my Bar exam next year... Does this change the interpretation? I should have been clearer!

Hmm, yeah it does. Then I would there might be a barrier, such as being able to move to Singapore. Or perhaps it will be very difficult to accept the job offer but someone will help you out. I just feel with the 10 of Swords there is going to be at least some communication issues, perhaps the job won't be available after you take the bar exam?

Perhaps it could also mean that I don't end up working there at all- it's an open offer which has been made by 2 people- but nothing has been signed.
