Topic: LENORMAND KNOWLEDGE- How to explan this combo?

I am in a need of a help with interpretation of Leno cards.  I did a reading for a friend. The question was: How will Her love life be like in August? I got (in that order): HEART (24) – MAN (28) – FOX (14) – KEY (33) – BOUQUET (9) I would kindly ask anyone with Leno knowledge to share your thoughts with me. How would you read these cards? I am especially interested in the Fox card; does this card always indicates some manipulation and hidden agenda or could it also be only an indicator that love will take place in a work area or something similar? And with the Key card following it – could this mean that whatever duplicity or manipulation is going on, will be revealed? Thank you so much to anyone who will take time to help me and share knowledge with me!

Whenever I see he fox card, I always take it to mean dishonesty tbh. I've never really had it apply to a work setting. However, given that the surrounding cards are positive cards; it might be that the fox card describes the environment in which they interact. It sets the scene for the rest of the cards. But given my experience I would personally go with it representing someone's temperament i.e. Someone who is clever, for example - her August may involve interactions with a man who uses "underhanded" tactics to unlock more happiness between them. So the man may lie to her about something; but for a good reason - to bring about a good outcome for them both. I would say that the choice would be down to you and what YOU feel the cards are saying. (I use the Mystical Lenormand cards and accompanying book by Regula Elizabeth Fiechter). IP: Logged |

To me this is saying she is going to meet the key man, or rather destined man at work, she will be very happy and very much in love with him. I do not see dishonesty as the bouquet is at end of reading.

I would not say he would lie to her, sneaky in the way of using flattery to get her to go out with him but it will turn out well. So he may send her gifts like flowers or has flowers sent to her workplace ( fox). It do not believe there is lies attached to this. IP: Logged |

ikja, my thoughts were the same; only that I wasn't able to explain the fox card as good as you.  To me 'dishonesty' is usually connected with the fox, but here I wasn't that sure if that is the case since positive cards are all around. vesta, thank you so much! Maybe 'manipulation' of the fox could really mean just that - that he would use flattery to get to her. IP: Logged |

What I was actually thinking about was a situation where perhaps she is apprehensive about getting to know him and therefore, she is hesitant to go out with him on date at night. He knows this and says that they should just take a casual walk as friends instead. In that way, it's not an obvious date and he says this to her; but really... It is. He has just been clever about going about getting what he wants. That's the simplest example I've got lol IP: Logged |

Heart - man - fox - key - bouquet Heart - fox - bouquet
It could be just that he is the key man in her life soon, he will send her flowers at work to win her heart ( flattery ) he is a smart and sophisticated man who will make her very happy in love. IP: Logged |

Wow! ikja and vesta, thank you both! I am impressed! You two are one more proof that when it comes to reading Leno cards, we need to use our knowledge of knowing the meaning of cards and then our ability of creating story. Amazing!! Thank you!

I guess in this instance you would perhaps need to know more about the person asking you the question - is she involved with a man at work? Does she completely trust someone who has entered her life recently? If you don't know, you could paint both as being a possibility. Either way, I think however you interpret the cards, the bottom line is that a good outcome is likely! So we are all in agreement about that here lol. IP: Logged |

One question though… When can you tell if she (or any other person in any other reading) already knows this particular man or will get to know him? I personally would dare to say that she will meet him (doesn’t know him yet) only if the Book card is present in a reading. Do you have any other indicators? What are you experiences so far?

To be honest, again, I think it would depend on how the person wrote the initial question. Some people test to see how good you are and don't provide you with much information to see how much you can read; and others let you know so much! Me personally, I play it safe and talk about a men and women generally... If it reasonates as being someone they already know, great... and if it doesn't; then they will most likely get to know the person. However, it could also depend on the type of spread you use. For example, if you did a past/future spread then you know that a man on the past side would perhaps be someone the querent already knew. If he was on the future side, it would be someone that are getting to know or about to meet.

I posted a thread on how to get the most out of lenorman readings. Just by how you word your questions. Look at the thread in "through the ooking glass " Also for timing you could ask when but remember timing with Lenorman is exceedingly tricky. You may think one thing and it will turn out completely different. Though, you do know from the previous question it will be during the month of August. IP: Logged |
