Hi dustib, Leaving feedback for the reading you gave me here: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum11/HTML/015084.html I didn't forget about you. I was just waiting for the end of the 3 month period described in your reading I thought it might be easier to leave feedback this way rather than navigate through the thread. Let me know if you prefer I add the feedback to the original thread. quote: Will I be employed by the end of this month. If so, how will I come across the opportunity? If not, when do you see me being employed?I got letter, birds, ship, cross and moon. I don't feel you will find the job you are looking for by the end of this month but maybe a temporary job to hold you over and it looks like it might be a night shift job. I unfortunately am not good at reading time frames but did ask if you would find the job you're wanting within 3 months and got woman, key, mountain, whip and lilies. I feel like once you overcome whatever obstacles that are in your way right now that yes you will find the job you want within 3 months’ time.
You're right, I did not find the job I was looking for in May. That month I was told about a part-time position that would have indeed been a night/evening shift situation (5pm to close) but I elected not to apply. A week later I got a temporary position that was great - worked for almost a month and was able to get by. Since then, I still have not found the job I'm looking for and I haven't heard about any interesting positions through my network either. I applied for a few positions last month that I am really interested in - just waiting to hear back. So far the phones have been quiet. Thank you so much for reading for me!!! I really appreciate it IP: Logged |

Thank you for the feedback! So 3 months would be August and if you applied last month then timing is right. Have you called to check on the resumes you sent in? I'm in HR so calling never really hurtsIP: Logged |

Lol, oh sorry. I thought 3 months included May, but I reread what you wrote and now I understand. That's encouraging I followed up with one position and never received a response. Planning on following up this week for the second one (the one I -really- want ). I noticed that following up is kind of hard for me for some reason - I always feel very awkward about doing it. Oh well. Thanks so much! I'll let you know what happens come September Thank you again! IP: Logged |

I think following up is hard for a lot of people but I always recommend it. Some HR people may not like it but to me it really shows interest. I hate the people who don't get back with you....I personally don't understand the reasoning behind it as I want to let everyone know so they don't sit and wonder. Good luck and keep me updated! Hey there Dustib, I just wanted to update you. I received a job offer this week for what I feel might be the "perfect" job for me right now. I was told about the position mid-September through someone I know, just as you predicted. quote: I really feel like you are going to find this job thru networking with people you know. So maybe it's something they see and point you in the direction of.
I interviewed for it a few weeks ago and finally got word this week that I got it. Thank you again for the reading Timing was pretty close! I was told there were a lot of delays in the process, so perhaps it would have happened sooner if unexpected obstacles hadn't popped up first. Either way, you were right! Really appreciate it IP: Logged |
