I know someone mention a few time that their decks have personalities? Like they'll say "my deck is snarky" or "my deck has a sense of humor!" I was wondering do your and when did you realize it had a personality? Is it the same as your own personality? Or is it completely different? What is your deck's personality? I think mine has one but it doesn't. o.o?IP: Logged |

I don't have the best answer to your question Debby, but I really love my Mystical Lenormand deck because it is modern and somewhat rare in the sense that I haven't seen many people with it. The images are clean and easy to read. In that way, I guess my deck is quite young and playful. I don't get strong negative energies from my cards because they are not really designed that way - they are not designed to scare. I think they intend to advise, and in that way, they are very well suited to me:  IP: Logged |

That deck is beautiful. :c I should've gotten that but rider waite was cheaper. Awww SereneDaze! I thought my deck wasn't connecting to me until i assigned it cards for specific meanings. And when those cards are pulled that's exactly what it means. .-. Though sometimes my deck get tired... it's lazy. Ikja that answer my question if you get good vibes!  I want a playful deck! Mine has an attitude . Sassy but not rude. Trust me, my boyfriend picked it up as a joke and said " Do you really give laura attitude" He pulled my card (Queen of Pents), then pulled 5 of wands. He even pulled again after e shuffled. Once again, my card and another conflict card[ i dont recall which one, i just remember it being a conflicting card.] By the way, Ikja I love your cards. They are so pretty. Good choice.

Right now I'm using the Druidcraft Tarot. It has a lot of personality and the emotion of the card is quite clear. Mostly I love its earthly feel.

i tried to give away my deviant moon, hermetic and RWS not so long ago, they totally made a point that they wanted to stay with me, I never went through with this.I say RWS is super independent, making a point that it only allows me to use it but we're not friends Dreaming way is mellow, pretty happy to go along with me whenever Deviant Moon is alright, I don't think it's evil or mean, but it seems to ask me if it shocks me too much. Hermetic is rather compassionate towards me I think. So yeah I suppose they all have a personality IP: Logged |
