Wow. That hurts. I left him because he was in a bad place in life...I left him when he was on drugs & depressed. I still love him but in the end I was looking out for me. I tried countless times to offer my friendship...To no avail.I'm just mad because I didn't do anything wrong, he said he would never get mad if I looked out for me & now he just hates my guts when all I was was loving & loyal. What is your question?

I can't exchange, but I have a quick question if you're still in the mood to read. If not, no worries.I'm having very negative feelings toward my friendship with S lately. Is this negativity a signal that we should take a break/part ways? Or is it just negativity that I'm bringing in to the friendship because of my circumstances and unintentionally causing problems? I'm embarrassed to say, but this is very true. I see my friend as being very immature. I often feel frustrated by the things he does and pressured by the responsibility I feel he puts on me. He is older than me, but I sometimes feel as though he acts like he's 10 years younger. I think it just boils down to us having very different opinions about what is "appropriate" and what isn't, if that makes sense.
