Is this relationship focus?

I could ask about my love, we've fought and had a separation period, and recently got back in contact. We get along well and love each other, there were some insecurities in need to be overcome. We face a major life decision (relocation).

What do you see as upcoming events between us or for us?

I cant pick up events without cards but things are going to be stuck for a while. I mostly feel like his pride is hurt and this stops him from using the rational part of himself to figure out a solution to this. Hmm he is difficult to read...there are heavy feelings that he's experiencing. He is hurt by what happened, the both of you need to work things out calmly. I'm mostly getting that you should reassure him for him to come out of his shell. Did this resonate?

I think you are right. I am trying to back off and give him space. But at the same time he does come to me for help. So it can be confusing as to when I should back off and let him sort things out or when I should try and help, or offer to help. When you say things will more or less stay the same this year what do you mean by that? That we will continue together?

Tough to read!

I think no matter if you call him or not, there are things bound to happen within the interval, some news, or events, that will put the relationship into a new light for you or simply some inner events and developments changing the perspective. But the spread does suggest you should keep it to yourself now, since both Hermit and Hierophant are about seeking guidance and advice, from a retreat position (they are both hermits, form a certain POV). The things that will happen in or out will lead to healing of any heart break..
On the other hand, we have here a mythical pair, the antagonism between doing what the heart desires, one's own truth and inner light (Hermit, 3 of sw) vs. doing what is right or traditional or in conformity (Hierophant) and seeking the balance between those (Temperance). Doing what one wants in the heart ( to seek for him - Hermit) vs the rules of the dating game (Hierophant).

I think the cards advice is to stick to the rules of the game, which is not pushing it with a guy ho doesn't chase you (since Hierophant was the last position in my initial spread, the last two cards are clarifiers)
