Well, my boss just informed me today that he is going to email me the report on my jobperformance (which is needed to become a "permanent teacher/civil-servant") and he wants me to sign the document on monday.

Ouch, I wish he had not thought of doing that while retro Mercury is exact on my Pluto with the lunar ecclipse taking places exactly along my IC-MC-axis.
Couldnīt he have waited until Mercury at least went direct again?
Doesn`t sound too good, right? :sighs:

Can someone pull a few cards for me as to how bad that report is going to be?

It's going to be good. There will be mixed report, not too good not too bad. It will a mediocre one. You won't be too surprised to see the report. Just leave me a feedback when you get the report. All the best.

Not bad..you'll probably be asked to make a few changes but overall it looks positive.

9 of swords/ace of pentacles/star

It shows that you're stressed and uneasy about the situation, but it also shows you're worrying for no reason. Ace of pentacles and star show it's going to be successful so try to relax about it. A lot of people are signing things on Mercury retrograde and it's not realistic to expect literally everything signed these days to be a disaster, neither will your situation turn out to be. It'll be fine.

2 of pentacles fool 5 of wands 6 of cups

it looks great! one of your favorite cards, the fool! did you mediate a conflict successfully? it seems it will be mentioned in there

I see flexibility, fun, juggling tasks, promoting games, play and healthy competition...I don't know how these reviews are meant to look like, do they also recommend things?

to me, 5 of wands here means "performant" but the whole spread screams "performer" too so it seems you "performed"

Thank you all.
I got the report, and my boss asked me to correct any mistakes in there or add what he forgot.

The report is pretty good overall, though not the OPTIMUM, but that would not have been realistic anyway.
And well he made a few mistakes, with dates and spelling, so I actually have to correct them before sending the report back.

But as I said I think I can be rather content with it all in all.

I think though, while the other areas are well, too, the strenght really lies in my personality, at least it came out like that, that emphasis on my friendly, calm, yet determined way to deal with pupils as well as me being friendly (again. lol), supportive and reliable.
Sounds a little like a St Bernard, a bit boring, but I think it is really nice to be seen like that in this context, as I have to deal with a lot of people, and being cooperative definitely helps.

In fact the last sentence of the report emphasizes that my way of being (friendly, suportive, reliable) is being appreciated very much by all colleagues, parents of pupils, pupils and school-authority (so my boss, technically. lol).

Well, it`s not a bad report, I think.

the problem I am having now is actually different.

Because my boss seems to have decided to refer to me in more personal terms (though he never officially offered me the "first name basis"), he just somehow leapt over that stage, and is apparently now in the stage of thinking of me (and calling me) with my first name and in a more personal-friendly than professional-detached way.

which was also evident in the mail accompanying the report. I somehow transitioned in his mind apparently from "Ms X" to "Dear Ceri". *sighs*
This makes it really complicated for me, to be honest.
I like a bit of professional distance.
I know that him being the emotional person he is, tends to spontaneously offer the "first name basis" to a lot of people, but i successfully wormed my way around that, until now.
And while he did not really offer me that, he just started to refer to me in that more personal way.
And it is really weird now for me to decide how to respond to that.
Since he has not offered me that officially, it would feel inappropriate to simply respond in the same way to him (he is my boss after all), and I do not WANT to either.
But responding in a very formalized-detached way could also be wrong.

So I have to find a way now to respond to him in a friendly-formal way.

Yeah, not really too happy about that.

Lol, Capricorn Venus problems! But I know what you mean, I dislike too much familiarity in a professional context too.

I am glad the report was good though!

I think it is a mix of Venus in Cappy and Moon in Aqua-problems.

Well if I remember it rightly my boss is a Taurus with some personal planets in Aries - and it shows. lol
