Topic: Unsure what to make of this card

I asked my cards if I'll have children and pulled the empress which stands for things such as fertility and femininity so I took that as a yes. My next questio was how many children and I got 10 of swords. I definitely won't have 10 children, and if I pulled the empress for the first question then I doubt 10 of swords means I'll have 0. The card after it is page of swords but in not sure how that helps as a clarifier. Anyone else run into contradicting pulls? Anyone know what this might mean? IP: Logged |

Empress is an indeed a yes. 10 of swords = 2 for me. The meaning of the 10 of swords is the beginning of a new era (a new chapter in your life) which is true for most new mothers. However, in order to begin a new, an old way must die first (when you become a mother you go through a transformation and something about you changes...) so to me that's the new dawn - a new era... two? The end of the beginning = 1 child

He may be a child too within  but also somehow I picked up that the 10.swords could have referred to a divorce... the end of a relationship, etc. and that's when... but you asked how many, so I didn't want to assume that. Hm I've never seen it as two before, but I trust your judgement. Last time I asked if I'll have kids I pulled two of wands, I wonder if that was their way of saying "yes you'll have two"? Interesting. Thank you.

Sometimes cards don't answer certain questions. Especially if you've asked them before.Perhaps the 10 of Swords next to the Empress is showing your pregnancy will be a draining / tiring one IP: Logged |
