Hey guys so I started taking prenatal vitamins in hoping that there is a chance for pregnancy to occur really soon for me as seeing all my friends announcing pregnancies I have honestly been hoping to become pregnant these past few years and with these vitamins may help me get a boost as it has been a dream for me to have a little one of my own :-)

Prenatal vitamins benefit your baby once he/she has been conceived. The idea being that you need a good amount of folic acid and iron when actually pregnant. Here's the downside ... If you're not preggo, prenatal vitamins can give you a much higher dose of iron than you need. And that's not always good.

So, time your cycles and keep having sex

that was my thought... the way the OP worded the post made me think that they weren't having sex enough and still took the pills... pregnancy is all about timing and sex

You also need to make sure you are financially ready for a child. Wanting and providing for are two different things. Just because your friends are all having babies doesn't mean you should too. You need to be able to support yourself and the child and remember that it's a lifelong commitment not just a passing phase. Think long and hard about the implications you are about to go through before you get yourself pregnant.

Unless you want to use in-vitro means and a sperm donor, you better make sure the partner you're with also wants a baby. I read a couple of your posts on LL and I'm surprised to see that you want to have a baby when you're not even in a steady relationship.

Of course it is your own prerogative but it also involves a second individual. Don't go around making life changing decisions without thinking them through properly. The desire to have a baby can easily disappear whereas a real baby cannot. You should make sure that you want to have a baby because it's what you feel is right for you not because you want to emulate your friends.

Good luck

LibraGirl you seem like a very sweet person who is maybe lonely. Ive read a lot of your posts where you've asked if you should get back together with this ex or that ex. I know as of late you've been asking about a new guy. I feel for ya girl. Try and go forward not back and don't have a baby because maybe you feel lonely and want someone to love and someone to love you back. Really think about your choices before you jump into this. I wish you nothing but the best and hope things turn out the way you want them.

Truthfully I feel like I'm in a tug of war as much as I want to be done with the guy I was with for five years I can't seem to be like I'm done and walk away and don't look back. The new guy I have been talking to I never felt so happy talking and I feel a very strong c9nnection/bond to this guy and he is from New Zealand while I am from the states. We both have said we have strong feelings for each other and we have talked for a year but not in an in depth talk like we have been for the past month or so and then me and my ex of five years talked and as much as I was wanting to say no more of this I went back to him to try a work on it. I honestly feel like I am going to have an emotional/mental breakdown because of all of this

I think you should meditate on things and see how you feel. When it comes to the ex think about why it didn't work the first time and are those things that can be overcome now. Or will you fall into the same patterns. As far as the guy in New Zealand it's not out of the realm of possibility to be together. If you both want it you can make it happen. I think if you focus on what you really want the right answer will come to you. Focus on you!

For me when I meditate I just sit very queitly somewhere with no outside distractions. Feet flat on the floor. I light a candle and close my eyes and just focus on breathing in and out. Trying to clear my mind of the clutter. By focusing on the breathing aspect it helps me to think less about the million thoughts in my head. I do that until I feel calm. I know there are videos on YouTube you could watch on how to meditate. Sometimes seeing it is helpful too.

meditation is tough. the easiest way to start is by chanting a mantra as slowly as you can for... (set a timer for 10 minutes).

in fact, you could just repeat OM... VERY slowly. itll take a while but with regularity, it's uncanny how much of a difference it will make in your life.
