So I already hate my job as it is... My boss comes up to me today saying I owe 70$ because of something that went wrong with a customers credit card(a few other girls too) I'm a waitress, iv worked in many restaurants and regaurdless if someone's card got charged twice I was never told I have to pay. That's under the restaurants expenses
I also looked it up as I showed one of the managers that it's illegal in mass to make an employee pay

His response "it is illegal but the company can also take away most of your shifts in the case of you not paying"
Ok so threaten me?
Then I saw that manager talking to the main one about it.
I'm literally quiting tomorrow

I am like speechless that I looked up Massachusetts laws and was told basically keep my mouth shut or have no job. Everything about that place was terrible. 2 months of the worst vibes and energy I have ever felt.
