So, when I was laid off and given severance, I found an opportunity in Europe and I'm working in Amsterdam as an au pair, and auditioning and performing whenever I can. Obviously, I don't make very much, but when I made the decision to come here it was the best and only option I had.

But, money is dwindling. I have always tried to stay on top of that, but I make significantly less than I used to and cannot adjust the bill payments. I love it here but am far away from my loved ones in the states. My relationship with my boyfriend seems to be the only thing that is growing and building - a direct opposite of where I was when I moved here (I'd broken up with him at the time). I'm glad for that, but never wanted an either/or scenario.

I just need some help. I've reached out for every single job opportunity to help while I am here, but feel blocked by everything other than my au pair job (which is, at best, just affording me a free place to live and some pocket money each month).

This is my chart right now, and transits. Is there ANYTHING I can grab onto for hope? I am not giving up on anything here, and my boyfriend and family are encouraging me to see this through, but I can't move forward without a feeling that this is the right place for me to be. ANd right now, though it definitely is fulfilling on a personal and musical level, it is not even close to that financially. I have a knot in my stomach.

I am up for a job that I would probably find out about end of December and early January, so I'm trying to put as much positive energy towards that as possible.

Also, vesta, it does seem every cappie is having this issue. My bf is also heavy-cap and he's trying to find jobs. He's doing very well for himself financially already, but it's trying to get to that next step....

WOW, amazing - not sure how I did not think of that as a reason!!!

It makes perfect sense because i was feeling pretty secure about the financial side of this decision until recently, then suddenly it was like one huge expense after another that I didn't see coming.

Issues of security, money, having enough etc. Will come up again and again in your life.

And with the 3rd house cusp in Taurus ;wealth,self-subsistence,security etc. Are likely to come from speaking,singing,reading or short term traveling(areas of the 3rd house).

This is where you want to build your empire(Taurus). And with Venus in Pisces, it is likely that you want to build self-sustenance around creativity, spirituality or being of service to others(Pisces).

Now how you actually go about making money involves the 2nd house cusp.

Aries is on the 2nd house cusp and this suggests that your personality(Aries) is your selling point.

It is good that you are already taking very big initiative to make your dreams come true.That is what Aries on the 2nd house cusp entails: Being bold enough to make money on your own terms.

I especially love what you said re: the self doubt. It's okay to go there but DON'T MOVE IN.

That is a slippery slope for me. I know my voice is solid and I know my talent, and as soon as I start doubting, everything falls apart. EVERYTHING.

But as soon as I feel confidence firming up, it's like the stars align perfectly and nothing is a problem. Money works out. Relationships work out. I need that alignment as much as I need air to breathe, haha.

And yes, competitive is my middle name I think. I kind of love it as much as I hate it, and to make the right amount of money doing what I love most would be a dream come true.

I will keep the faith - I don't have a choice I think!!
