Synastry utilizes asteroids. Juno contacts in synastry are indicative of a bond.
Maybe they do *shrug* like I said I'm pretty new, but many have said they don't matter (or don't cause a big impact and that any impact they do cause is minimal in the grand scheme of things) since there are hundreds even millions of asteroids out there.
These are just a couple of opinions of people from two respected astrologers on astrologyweekly.com. Most on there were saying they aren't of the same importance as planets. But again, some people use them, some don't. I guess it just depends on preference.
"There are millions of asteroids out there. Literally. So if you want to count them, everyone has aspects to asteroids."
"...there are thousands of them out there. Each planet in a degree would have hundreds of asteroids conjunct it at the same degree, never mind even a conservative orb. So we have to be careful not to use so many asteroids with so many aspects that we make the chart mean whatever we wish it to mean."
