Hi everyone! I'm new to the forums, and to astrology in general! (I've been studying on and off for about 3 months now) I've been having fun interpreting my own chart, but the farther I go the more complex it feels like it is. If any of you could help me find a good starting point or maybe point out some chart rulers to keep an eye on it would be SO helpful! Anything to help me start organizing an order to tackle things!

Here's the birth chart via astro.com : http://i.imgur.com/DLgVrIj.gif

Detailed Aspects: http://i.imgur.com/4L9NFxK.png

Full disclosure, I adjusted my birth time because my ascending sign prior (virgo, 4:13 pm) absolutely didn't fit me so I looked up how to determine a more accurate birth time and the asc shifted into libra (4:37 pm) only 24 minutes after my written time, so that's the birth time I chose.

Campanus house system has given me the most accurate readout for myself and my partner, so that's the logic behind that choice.

I'm so excited to really get into this!

@gk Astrology 2.0 has been so enlightening! I've been trying out the astrosentences format for starters too and that has been good for familiarization.

Is there anybody who could maybe single out any chart rulers for me at least to start? That's what's giving me the most trouble right now.

There are plenty reasons why you're ascending sign didn't fit you. Changing your birth time (and therefore changing important parts of your chart potentially) will not result in very accurate chart interpretations. I highly doubt the hospital staff didn't write down your birth time until 24 minutes after your birth. Have you not looked at what aspects your real ascendent makes? Or have you looked at what planets your real chart has in the first house? All that can play a part in why you don't feel like a Virgo ascendent.

@candycrush I absolutely agree there are tons of factors that can make that placement suited, however none were present in that chart. My asc had no planets in it and only made two weak aspects with anything. My birth was abnormal due to complications so the time chosen was somewhat arbitrary. I weighed what I know about myself against what I dont know abt the birth, and also looked at if anything that did resonate changed. the time shift doesnt result in any other substantive changes in aspects beyond bringing more into aspect with my asc.
