Oooops - typo in thread title (blame the excitement).

Basically, my mum is convinced that I am going to have twins one day because My favourite food is a particular dish. Where she is from, it's a sign that the person will have twins - especially if the person is female.

Anyway... Just wondering I could "verify" this? Can it be done using a natal chart? If so, how?

Ooooo Empty Spaces!!! I have Mars conjunct moon in my 4th (they are in Aries) but my 5th house is also ruled by Aries!!!

Thanks hunny. It will be a WHILE yet lol; but it's definitely something that I think about. Especially as I've semi accepted the fact that I am going to have my children relatively late in life.

Why?It is something on you chart?Btw you have a pisces moon?I heard moon in dual signs could also mean twins.

After assessing my chart against some of the things in the above link. I think there's a possibility that I may have twins. I would say like maybe 50-70%? I've got some classic aspects looool; but I'm not sure. I've got an Aries moon ;(

From a scientific point of view, you will have twins if it runs in the mother side of the family and it skips generations normally. So if your grandmother or your grandmother's sisters had twins (or had it in the genes), then it's likely that you will have twins too. Sometimes it's recessive which means they don't give birth to twins although the 'ability' is there

Is it only the mother's side? I know my father had twin brothers who died at birth/relatively young. So, I'm definitely going to have a look on the internet now for more information!

I'm not sure about the science behind it, but Elvis Presley was a twin (his twin brother died at birth) and his daughter Lisa Marie now has twin daughters. Of course, she is a middle aged woman now (and that alone raises your chances of having twins) and it could very well be that she had IVF like many celebrities do, so I'm not sure how good of an example that is, but it is the best example I can think of where the twins run on the father's side (her mom doesn't have twins in the family).
