Is it true that those with venus/mars in fire signs are more prone to short term romances, at least in youth? I know that the marriage ruler in retrograde delays (but not denies) marriage.

I seem to be a serial short term monogamist..but trying to make things long term now (at nearly 30). can anyone help?

Hey Charlotte, i also have Venus and Mars in fire signs, and compared to your chart mine are just reversed - Venus (and Sun) in Sag and Mars in Aries.

To answer your question from personal experience - no, this has not been the case for me and i really favour a life-long romantic partnership. Most all of my relationships have been with a long-term perspective, and i wouldn't settle with a short romance.
Perhaps other (or additional) aspects are supporting your case?

Well, my Venus is in Aries and Mars in Gemini (which is known to be detached) and I've always preferred long-term relationships... so I don't believe it's a thing for certain.
