I asked if I'd meet someone if I went to the bookstore tonight and pulled Three Of Wands RX. I read reversals as opposites (i.e: reversed Lovers may indicate a relationship that isn't working out) Does the reverse of this card indicate that instead of looking into the distance and hoping for action as in the upright, I am actually making something happen? Some say the reversed 3 of wands is a blockage of energy...

Upright we have the man looking out possibly sending his ships out for whatever desired outcome is anticipated. Wands are fire therefore I see the as action.

So I would see it as if you go to the bookstore you'd get your ships (the goods, outcome desired) coming back to you.

because by you going its already an action you have sent out and set in motion.

Also 3 of wands can denote long distance relationships, meeting someone from abroad... faraway.
