I see rebirth more so associated with Judgement because the people are literally raising from their graves. Where as Death has always been definite ending for me, done with, over with, a resolution, nothing from the past is there. No rebirth of what once was because its ended. But keep in mind surrounding cards too though.
Judgement on the other hand shows a renewal - rebirth a continuance of what once was only thing is that nothing will ever be the same, but the theme is still there. An adaptation of new circumstance from the old ways/state.
Example:
Perfect health, sickness over takes when treated a solution is found therefore Death is the ending of that sickness - a solution. No rebirth and no need to adapt to new circumstances because its over with.
Judgement, sickness overtakes, something that's bound to leave a non-reversible change in you. Can be treated sure but you won't go back to the perfect state you were in, you can only heal so much, so therefore you past life changes and you must adapt to this renewal. Because nothing is ever the same again.
Personal: I had a jaw joints injury ( don't think I'll ever be able to have red meats, chicken or chewy foods) I have healed some but it has not ended/found a solution (death) and it probably won't. Therefore I must adapt to my new way of life my renewal (judgement) nothing will ever the same for me. Though I think I prefer Judgement because I think this was for the better, it allowed me to adopt a healthy way of living in every way.
Come to think of it, I view them sorta the same but still different in a way, hopefully you get what I'm trying to say.
