His dreams are about to die, he is already having problems with siblings, car issues if he has any, limitation in transportation, communication breakdown - though he maybe expressing himself now more seriously than ever, health related something having to do with the mind. Having issues at work and the people he works with or for. Going through a major disappointment. Some sort of relationship will offer him healing soon, I am inclined to say healing in a medical way from a long time of pain. Though it MAY BE a romantic relationship - connection of some sorts.

He's been fighting with his sister lately but nothing too serious. They are very close. Yes to limitations in transportation, he doesn't have a car. Health issues but not regarding the mind, he's actually very sane in the middle of everything. Yes, he is having issues at work, he is planning to change jobs during the summer. There is some disappointment, I don't know if I would call it major, but there is some dissatisfaction. He recently started a romantic relationship that seems promising.

Ok I said health problems because mars is conjunct south node in 6th house, but now I also see chiron in 8th. Chiron is still tough for me, so I am gonna take one more guess, but maybe this is too far-fetched..near-death experience?

Yes! Well, at least we hope so!

He was born with an ectopic thyroid (at the base of his tongue), that he didn't know about. One day he suffered a massive bleeding from his throat and was rushed to the hospital. It was thyroid cancer, he was only 34 at the time. It was somewhat advanced to cause a bleeding but has not spread yet. Despite all this, he's an optimistic, generous, positive person with huge energy levels. I am in awe with him.

He did not move, but he changed a few jobs. He's contemplating a career change right now.
Maybe they tried to control him when he was younger. He's endured many hardships and was subject to abuse and humiliation due to his hypothyroidism (that he wasn't aware of because nobody considered taking him to a doctor). Yet despite his hypothyroidism he has a normal intelect (though he is a bit short and has a mild disproportion of his limbs and head compared with the rest of his body similar to dwarfism), so it was even more painful because he was aware of everything.

Wow! You know what's crazy? Your friend has such a similar chart to my boyfriend (they were probably born in the same year) and mine also survived a major bought of cancer! Much like yours, he's a ridiculously optimistic, forward-thinking person with absolutely zero self pity. Your friend has Jupiter exalted at a critical degree, plus is going through a nodal return right now with t. Jupiter near his n.Saturn. Very strong feeling he'll pull through. Wow! That is crazy! Can you post his chart?

I am optimistic about his cancer, even though he is still undergoing radioiodine treatment, but thyroid cancer has a good cure rate. I also thank heavens for his POF conjunct 6th house ruler! It gives me hope he will be cancer free soon. He's had such a hard, rough life, lost his parents early, had to work to support himself through school since a young age; the cancer happened right after his divorce and he says these two events changed him tremendously. He's an amazing person.

I hope you don't mind that I try to read his chart a little.

I think with Pluto in the 1st house, trine venus and sextile Neptune he has a strong presence. It's like people get to know his loving, deep and passionate nature from just superficial interactions. He must be a people magnet.

He may be reflective when it comes to friendship (saturn retrograde in 11th), he knows what he wants, he is mature and he has a group of true close friends.
I think he is a very devoted, fun, optimistic and nurturing friend himself (saturn activates his Moon in the 4th, which in turn activates his Uranus and Mars, his Jupiter and his Mercury, Sun and Juno -not bad, an amazing all in one friend!).
The harshest thing here might be his opposition saturn-mars, between friendship and work.

I think for him serving others and doing his work is a way of feeling very fulfilled (since the Sun (self-identity) is in the 6th house and it activates all the planets already mentioned). He must be a most complete worker too, someone who also relies on others, gains their trust and is loved in his working environment.

I think he is often very articulate in his interactions and often direct, saying what he thinks (Sun conjunct Mercury and Mercury conjunct Descendant) and his relationships seem kind of fated (vertex in the 7th house).
