I have had some readings from you, and I noticed that when you read, you focus too much on the meaning of the card itself that in letting yourself use your intuition. Let me explain myself: when you pull some cards, you say--> this means this, so this situation is probably like that. In my experience with cards, the same card has a lot of meanings, maybe thats where you have to put a little more focus, in trusting your intuition and not focusing that much in the meaning of the card, because every card has a lot of meanings. I know this because it kinda works the same as astrology. If you say, Venus in 6th house means you love to work, there is 99% probabilities that you are wrong, because Venus in 6th house has a lot more meanings than just loving to work

I agree with lilypad, I think you should be more confident about your readings and let your intuition unfold. That's where you might get stuck. Actually lilypad told me the same thing, too, for my readings I mean, I know this feeling, when you feel not so confident and anxious, intuition goes away and then you get even more frustrated than the start.
You are a good reader, believe it, you have done many readings for me and they were never off, maybe some times you got stuck, but this will go away once you truly believe you are a good reader! Don't give up! I hope I didn't offend you somehow, but with time and practice that you are already doing and mostly with feeling more confident and listening to your intution, you will have the results you want! Hahaha, no, I am not leaving LL, I said somewhere that I will be absent for a week (basically it was in your thread I think, with the 3 days or week timeframe for contact lol), I'll visit my hometown! That's it!

You are under estimating yourself. Believe me when I tell you that your readings have been accurate! I started about three years ago and got more wrong than right LOL. You have so much determination and you are also a very giving soul.

No reader is 100% accurate, in addition to that you're learning, and by all accounts you're doing very well. Don't put so much pressure on yourself. How do you know a future reading you have done is completely wrong? It hasn't happened yet . In any event I think predictions are based on the energy at the time of the reading - the person you're reading for could be over stressed etc etc.

Try to relax when you're doing readings. This forum is mainly used for practising anyway. Dont worry so much about getting things incorrect sometimes

What I've found is that my cards speak to me in a way that only I understand; and I am becoming more familiar with that - it's probably been about a year since I got my cards. Even then, I wouldn't say that I'm confident reading for people without specificity and context. Even if I do obtain these things, there's no guarantee that I'll be right, because the possibilities with lenormand combinations are endless.

With Leno especially I believe certain cards like the fox and lily mean one thing, but other people think that they mean other things. No one is right or wrong, it's about what rings truer for you when you're reading cards. Sometimes, I'll provide an alternative interpretation of cards because the first vibe I get seems abit far fetched. However, even though I do this, about 70% of the time my first interpretation is correct.

I would also recommend starting off with 3 cards - either past, present and future OR just a centre card as the focus and then two descriptive cards either side. Once you're more familiar with 3 card pulls and then clarifying... You can move on to the 5 card pulls - using mirroring where necessary. You can still mirror using 3 cards, but it's not always necessary as a smaller number of cards are easier to interpret.

You're doing well. Don't put so much pressure on yourself. If it helps, limit the amount of free readings you do on here and just practice using cards and the circumstances that you know WELL. Circumstances which aren't important to you.

For example, pull cards on things like 'how was my day today?' and then see if the cards pulled and your interpretation match the reality. Or you can pull cards to predict your day and then see what happens.

Also I noticed leno cards tend to be quite literal sometimes (at least they are for me).

I remember when I was doing my first leno daily spread, the Coffin appeared, and I think book or cross might have been there, too, and I FREAKED out. I freaked out all day, until I was in that abbey-library I visited and found myself facing with a sarcophagus that was being placed there with the mummy of Shepenese - then I was laughing quite loud, because well the coffin-card in my first leno-deck looks like a sarcophagus! An egyptian one.
And what is a coffin doing in a christian library anyway?
Well I could have made without hearing someone knock, but okay, you can`t have anything. lol

Another spread I did was a one card pull about what would be the next big thing happening in a relationship between two people and I drew "child".
And no it was not something small, or a new beginning (well kind of), but actually the woman was pregnant at the time, which I of course did not know.

So for me Leno is very direct and straightforward, if my question is direct enough!
