there is a story in one of my books on honesty. It can be quite a confusing topic, especially for me. I have been, often, of the mindset, that I should just be *honest* even if it meant saying something that wasn't kind about someone. anyways the story is something along the lines of there was a criminal chasing a woman and you see the woman run by to the left... the criminal comes and says "where did she go?" of course, in this case, telling the "truth" causes nothing but harm.. I have always found that if you have genuine concerns about someone, the only proper way to address them is to sit down and discuss them out of a place of love and genuine caring for the person's well-being. If you did that, then you have no reason to worry. However, if you just went and listed of things your mother does that bothered or annoyed you, that of course, would be very hurtful to her.. It all depends on your intention and how you delivered it.. was it from a place of unloading all of your frustrations? or out of a place of love and caring? IP: Logged |

I am glad you guys are better now It is really, really easy to do that- especially with your parents... Your mama loves you very much, even if she can not be as sensible and receptive as you like all the time IP: Logged |
