I got a Rider-Waite-ish one. I wanted to get the original one, but couldn't get my hands on a good enough print. Am pretty happy with my set though. Was an impulse buy.

As for your question...
Whaddya know, I got the six of cups.. Even if we look at it as a yes/no reading, this one's very positive. But also, this one stands for nostalgia, and longing. The six of cups is not just joy, but a known joy - according to what I've read on some forums -- and this is usually connected to fond memories.

So, my guess is, he'll be thinking fondly of you for sure, and waiting for you to get back.

(^ Although that last part I could have told just from your stories of him. )

Would love some pointers too. Like, what would you recommend as some basic guidelines for readings? -- I mean, I'm just starting out, so ...even before interpretations, I'd like to know some do's and don'ts if you don't mind.

How does T feel about Elysia:

knight of pentacles, justice, page of wands, three of swords, ace of wands

O.K. we start of with the first card and it is male (knight) so that would be T. He is one who is very methodical in his approach, next to (justice) would show he is using his intellect rather than emotions. He wants to get to now you better. (page of wands) is showing that he will let you know his feelings. Pages are the messengers in the deck. I don't feel it will be verbally though. (three of swords shows a separation of sorts. It doesn't mean a relationship split, it can mean separation from not seeing each other as much as you like (work related) living a long distance from each other for example. And then...your last card is the outcome ace of wands! which is my FAVORITE card showing a lot of passion towards you. This card represents a phallic symbol haha

Yeah, he is quite the intellectual...And you know what, we are physically separated for the next couple months or so.. Plus, it is fairly early. I'm still feelings things out as I go. Our conversations started out on a purely *mental* level, but there are strong undercurrents and a lot of chemistry, some really heated confessions.
As for the ace of wands..

I'm glad it related to you. Yes, pentacles is Earth related. I am the Queen of pentacles. The guy I am always asking about J is the King of wands. He's a Gemini (air sign). I guess when doing readings I like to do three cards as it shows pass, present and future. You can pull an extra card as a clarifier and it shows an allover view. If you want to get a clearer picture on a question then you can use a significator. T's is the King of pentacles. I would then use this card as the first and do a Celtic Cross. If I come up with any Aces, they can be used for timing. You can look this up on the internet how to do it. I can help you with this if you like.
