I want to have my head right when I return the favor, and I don't forget favors.

If interested, please respond.

THANK YOU imeanj! I will not forget, I promise - ask whenever you need besides tonight, because I could not do your questions the justice they deserve.

My questions:

When will I receive the money I'm currently owed?

Will the business collaboration with SG yield positive results? If not, can you tell what the barriers to those results are?

Again, thank you and I owe you bigtime.

I think 27 days, but it also says already across, which is rather unfortunate. They could feel that they compensated you enough already. Did they not receive everything they were supposed to? Or was it that they only paid you partially.

Can you ask for help from someone, maybe not a lawyer, but some type of professional. Do you have documentation of some sort to pressure them? You may need to flex your muscles in order to get it. Bummer.

Sorry it wasn't more clear, can you ask more follow up questions?

63. Already Across

Line 5:

The eastern neighbor's butchered ox,
is not equal to the western neighbor's summer sacrifice.
Genuine worshippers receive the blessing.

One may put equal effort into something as someone else, but being sincere about it will decide whether one will actually reap the benefits.
(The summer sacrifice was one in which flute music was used. It was associated with joy. Such a sacrifice is of course a lot less expensive than butchering an ox. But what matters is that the sacrifice is an act of genuine worship, to receive the blessing that is supposed to come from it.)

Yes, it will be good. It may seem that you are giving something that is precious to you (younger sister), but it will be beneficial. It is okay to give/share/collaborate, will work out splendidly.

Emperor Yi gives his younger sister in marriage,
in order to bless.
A source of good fortune.

Being given a place to have some kind of benefit. This helps things to go well.

I have pretty extensive documentation, yes: Slack conversations, invoices, etc...

I don't want to have to go the route of litigation to get what is owed to me - I hate that.

But thank you...

I can tell you my initial sense is that yes, it's okay to back out if you can't handle it schedule-wise: they'll understand and it won't sever any ties. If you're comfortable with it, you might offer a contract-based alternative - it's what I'm getting, anyway - because they respect what you can bring to the table.

Also, the second reading resonates hugely - we always bring out the best in each other in our collaborations. Thank you again!
