I would say 'no'. 6 of swords / 3 of swords / queen of swords. Way too many sword cards here which make me think that this could, in fact, be mismatched personalities. One prefers diplomacy while the other is a straight shooter which opens the possible friendship to several misunderstandings.

I think you can, but it more less depends on how you both react. Do things feel a bit stuck between you? I think the 9 means letting go of fears( as it is reversed letting the swords fall away). The world is a card of completion and reversed it makes me think things are slower, and 9's are about reaching goals ie being almost there. The king of pents is someone who has worked hard to reach his goals and accumulate his wealth.

So in short, I think the cards show you can become good friends, but if you work at it and let go of any anxieties you may have.
