Hey guys,

I have a HEAVY 9th house.

What does my 9th house stellium do for me based on what you see in my chart?

I have Sun, Moon, Mercury, Chrion and North Node all in the 9th house.

You may be preoccupied w/ 9H matters (travel, education, religion) but most importantly, your "purpose" and questioning what you should be doing w/ your life or why are you here, and just asking a lot of questions about life in general. Religion, travel and education are all things that allow people to "find" their calling, but I think sometimes just living life and simply having "experiences" are what's also important in the 9H. You might have certain experiences where you have big realizations or learn a lot from. I can see you being a very opinionated person with a lot on your mind (especially w/ all of that Libra/Air influence) You're definitely not someone that takes things for as it is, and you'd rather define it in your own way.

Also I'm thinking certain people will come by and teach you valuable things, and you may have a natural talent for teaching others as well, even if you don't work as a teacher you may still be good at teaching others about life by simply sharing your thoughts and experiences.

Focusing on the opposite house (3H) may help to get out of that 9H rut

I have a 1H stellium. Stelliums are a bit hard to figure out sometimes.

I forgot to mention - with both Chiron and NN there, these things may not come easy and you might feel a need for direction, but get nowhere or go around in circles. or maybe you'll find a passion/purpose, but realize you changed your mind or it doesn't work out. with SN in 3H, you have the technical skills and knowledge already but now you need to put those skills towards something that has meaning to you. so your mission in life is to find your mission lol? i've never seen a chart w/ both chiron and NN in the same house actually

Hey Aqua,

Thanks for your response. I really appreciate it. I do seem to be preoccupied with 9th house matters a lot. I think more so just traveling and the philosophy side of the 9th house. I get many opportunities to travel more than the average person, and I haven't yet traveled overseas but I hope to soon.

I'm also into philosophy constantly asking myself questions and trying to make sense of everything around me.

And when you say Chiron things may not come easy do you mean that I could possibly have trouble with getting degrees since the 9th house relates to education as well?

Yeah that would be one of the manifestations of Chiron in 9H but only if you let it be. and there's other manifestations, like difficulties concerning foreign countries/traveling.

For example, my father has this too and he has a Ph.D and is an engineer now lol and the whole process was not prolonged at all

But in his case, he had to move from Japan to USA at age 16 and he barely knew english so that was a source of struggle for him at the time moving to a foreign land. This also directly affected his education and he had to try twice as hard in his studies b/c of the language barrier. he told me he had to tape record lectures and go home and listen to them to even begin to understand the lesson.

But clearly at the end everything worked out pretty well in his favor so i wouldn't worry too much. plus you do have the Sun there to help you put more action into things.

Okay that makes sense lol, the reason I ask is because I'm in college right now. But sometimes I fear I won't graduate on time or maybe I won't make it. My major is hard work I'm an Information Technology major (lots of math and programming) two things I have trouble understanding.

Besides my Capricorn rising, do you think there is anything else in my chart that would point to me accomplishing my goals?

Mercury opposite Saturn might slow down your Mercury and your studying/thinking habits but it's not a bad aspect as it creates a sober mind who's very thorough.

Saturn in the 2H can be difficult and these people (esp if you're a Capricorn ASC) may have late financial success, which ultimately ties into college I think b/c your financial success can depend on whether you finish college or not. It's about building and laying the roots for your success and I think that's what you're doing now by going to college. Success does come but later on. With your 2H cusp in Aquarius, it makes sense that you're looking for success in the computer tech world.

The fear of not graduating on time might be coming from Sun conjunct Chiron. Any planet conjunct Chiron can bring past life fears/habits. So cynicism about your actions (Sun) and you may not feel as confident as you should about yourself.

I've been in college for 3-4yrs already and I still have another 4-5yrs to get just my bachelors in biology, just b/c I had to start from high school level courses. I didn't enter college until I was 21 and I also did poorly in high school. So I understand what you're going through but as long as you keep up with persistence, your success can only be slowed but not stopped.

As far as things to help you to accomplish - you have an exact Mercury sextile MC which can be really beneficial in your career by giving you a sharp mind. Though sextiles need to be accessed, since they're not like trines.

Saturn trine Pluto is quite powerful IMO. It makes someone that has strong and almost unstoppable will. Especially since you have Pluto in 10H and Cap ASC, you may make a great leader.

I could go on but Mercury trine Uranus is also great for any science majors, especially computer science. You also have Uranus in the 1H too so this gives you fresh insights and the ability to see things from a different perspective when others can't

Yeah definitely with Mercury Opposite Saturn, I often doubt my own learning abilities only in the area of mathematics, everything else I can LITERALLY learn if I just pick up a book and read about it. But math is just hard for me to comprehend and I quickly lose focus when learning about math.

My Saturn in the 2H really sucks, cause I somewhat already feel it. I feel like I struggle with money often and I always feel like I never have enough. Supposedly with Venus trine Jupiter, I'd be lucky with finances which I am "sometimes". Usually when I'm about to go broke, I'm immediately saved. I'm not sure how much longer that'll go on though.

Btw, I don't have Mercury sextile MC, I have Mercury SEMI-sextile MC... I'm not sure if it makes a difference.

And Biology is a tough major, science majors in general. Study hard and don't procrastinate!!!!

Thank you sooooo very much Aqua!

Oh yeah my bad it is a semi-sextile but it's still an exact aspect! I didn't have my glasses on lol

I also have Saturn in 2H, but conjunct NN lol...so I def feel your pain. It's a slow build to success. I don't even wanna think about how my first Saturn Return is gonna be lol...

You too study hard haha
