So, if you contact this person, at first it will feel as if a new beginning has raised between you two. So you'll think u did a good thing in contacting him, will have fun talking to him and spending time with him, it'll be as if you have just recently met a new person. But after that initial feeling, you will see that some problems will arise, not serious one. kinda like character things, u may not understand something about him, he may not understand something about you, and from there there would be little discussions, u know what I mean? So that'll make you rethink, why did you have to contact him at all? cause it didn't seem to get better. And with the 9 of pentacles you'll probably stop talking to him...

I don't see any valuable lesson here, it just feels more like a "I didn't have to make this decision in first place". This spread really reminds me of that feeling of recontact in someone that u had some little character frictions and you thought weren't as bad after some time without talking, and once you contact him, at first everything looks OK, but with time those frictions arise again

This one looks beautiful. The hierophant is basically telling you that you are doing the right thing here in contacting CR. Maybe you'll have some doubts at first about if it's the right thing or not, but looks like with CR you will be able to develop a beautiful friendship that can last a long time. So I think they aren't the kind of person you'd text in a crisis (shoutout to Rihanna lol). The relationship u have with them doesn't seem to be really committed, as a serious friendship would be, and there's you in the middle of the spread, deciding if they are good for you or not, so you kinda like want to let go of them and look for someone else in your life to put energy into. But, even if they aren't really committed or people u can trust, they are still some persons which you can have fun with, u know what I mean? They won't help u with your problems or give you too many favors, but you still can go to parties with them and still have fun, plus they still can give you interesting subjects to talk about or just plain gossip, for the sake of talking and relaxing and taking ur head off of the work.

the second question:

I am prone to say, the lessons u can learn with them, aren't essential to you but can make ur life easier. A for example, they can teach you how to relax, how to maybe stop carrying about thing, stop being so serious, you know? simple things like that. And with the hermit there, I also have the feeling they make u rather feel alone, so probably u spend some time alone at work, but this time alone can only help you grow as a person, it doesn't have to make u feel bad. Oh, and with the 2 of swords there maybe they don't let u fully express yourself. It's just about learning to say "f*ck off, I'm going to be myself even if u don't like it or are judging me, and I'm still going to have fun". So basically this lesson, they don't teach it to you, they act in such ways that force you to embrace urself more than ever and start having fun with urself, careless attitude
