How would you interpret this as a message from my spirit guides? Nine of wands + Nine of cups
I bought a tarot deck card but there are no images on it like on Rider Waite. I searched on the internet for meanings but I'm still struggling at reading this combo. Can you please help me? I think I'll buy another deck but I'm still searching a place where to buy tarot cards.
The Nine of Wands is about coming out the other side of a bad situation and living to tell the tale. How you tell the tale (negativity or positively) is entirely determinate upon you yourself. The Nine of Cups is all about wishes and desires, wanting to show off what you have or getting what you want and being proud of it.
Two things to consider are that 1st) the wands represent passion, drive, ambition, creativity, and the cups represent emotions, pure and simple. 2nd) the 9s in tarot are about the darkness before the dawn, the "almost there" mindset. You don't have what you want yet, or the cycle hasn't been rounded out by the 10s, but you're close.
Depending on your relationship with your spirit guide (which is super important!) I would read this as a pretty profound: hang in there, don't get down on yourself, and keep planning on getting what you want. Yes, you're tired. Yes, it's been difficult, but the you can achieve it if you think back on what you've accomplished to get where you are today and keep envisioning where you want to go.
